Benjamin and Maria Ash. They're buried in a corner of the cemetery under a crabapple tree that is in full flower now, and the headstones lean toward one another.
He died in 1882, aged 67. She died in 1891, aged 82.
So she was born in 1809, he was born in 1815. She was six years older than he was, and lived for 9 years after he died. (And kids ask how math is relevant to real life!)
